FxFactory 2.6.3

This version of FxFactory improves performance and reliability of our products in Final Cut Pro X.
The update is also recommended for Motion, After Effects and previous versions of Final Cut Pro.

FxFactory 2.6.3 uses a new method to install and manage Motion Templates in Final Cut Pro X. This change may have implications for your existing Final Cut Pro X projects. Please review our instructions for assistance.

What’s new?

  • FxFactory 2.6.3 fixes a problem that would prevent certain transitions from working inside Final Cut Pro X.
  • FxFactory 2.6.3 allows our Motion Templates to be used in the trial version of Final Cut Pro X.
  • FxFactory 2.6.3 restores the ability to hide a product in Final Cut Pro X simply by disabling the checkbox in the product management UI. This feature was previously available only in hosts that support plug-ins directly, such as Motion, After Effects and Final Cut Pro 7.
    FxFactory 2.6.3 brings the same functionality to Final Cut Pro X, and allows you to dynamically hide certain products from the Final Cut Pro X effect browser.
  • FxFactory 2.6.3 fixes a problem that would prevent certain effects in Luca Visual FX Light Kit from working correctly in Final Cut Pro X.
