FxFactory 2.5.2 allows most transition effects to be used in After Effects and Motion.
FxFactory Pro, Boinx FxTiles, Luca Visual FX Light Kit, idustrial revolution SupaWipe and SUGARfx Light Pack have been updated to allow transitions to run in Motion and After Effects.
CoverFlux 2 is a major update to the free slideshow generator by idustrial revolution. More information and download link available below.
Applying Transitions in Motion and After Effects
Beginning with this version of FxFactory, transition effects can now be applied inside Motion and After Effects as well as Final Cut Pro and Final Cut Express.
Because Motion and After Effects lack native support for transitions, FxFactory advertises its own transitions as filters. Users can set a destination clip by assigning media to a drop zone (in Motion) or by selecting a layer from a popup menu (in After Effects). A transition’s progress is driven by keyframing a single progress parameter.
FxFactory Pro 2.5.2
FxFactory Pro 2.5.2 introduces a new Kaleidoscope filter in the “FxFactory Pro Tiling” category and a new “Scatter” transition. The “Agent” transition has also been updated to work with up to four clips in all hosts.
CoverFlux 2 is a major update to the popular freebie by idustrial revolution, made possible by the architectural improvements in FxFactory 2.5.2. The new version of CoverFlux is easier to use, faster and more configurable than ever, sporting new lighting, depth-of-field and title effects.
CoverFlux is available as a separate download. Install FxFactory 2.5.2 prior to installing CoverFlux 2.
