This free update to FxFactory brings compatibility with Adobe After Effects CS4, an important bug fix for the Yanobox Motype text generator, and four new plug-ins to FxFactory Pro.
Current FxFactory Pro customers get four new plug-ins in this release: the "Random Close-Up" filter in the "NI Distort" category, the "Upscale" filter in the "NI Video" category, the "Cube" and “Whoosh” transitions in the “NI Transitions” category. The “Random Crop” plug-in has been significantly improved, adding more animation controls to one of the most popular plug-ins in FxFactory Pro.
What's New in FxFactory Pro?
The newest plug-in in FxFactory Pro will pick random regions of your source media and scale them up to cover the entire frame. Random Close-Up allows you to transition from one randomly selected region to the next via one of many built-in transitions.
Random Crop (updated)
The popular Random Crop plug-in sports new parameters to animate each cropped region of the source media. The new behaviors let you grow or shrink the size of each region, animate the scale factor, add a zoom blur and/or an exposure shift.
The Whoosh transition improves the look of a basic “push” effect with directional blurring and exposure shift.
Cube simulates a 3D transition effect made popular by many Mac programs.
The Upscale filter, new in the “NI Video” category, lets you select a region of the source media and scale it up to cover the entire frame. The filter is extremely easy to set up and allows you to fine-tune the quality of the upscaled image.
