Adds noise with given characteristics to the source image. The effect blends a noise map with the original color information according to a customizable compositing operation (blend mode).
Effect Parameters
Presets
Presets contain a snapshot of the plug-in parameters. The Presets control lets you choose among one of the presets built into the plug-in, save current parameter values to a preset file, or load an existing preset file from disk.
A preset file saved to disk via the "Save As" button can be loaded from another instance of the same plug-in by clicking the "Open" button. Presets generated in one host can also be loaded from the same plug-in when used in a different host.
Scale
Defines the uniform scaling factor for the noise map.
Scale X/Y
Define independent scaling factors for the noise map, over the X and Y axes.
Softness
Controls the amount of softnening applied to the noise map using a gaussian blur.
Intensity
Controls the overall intensity of the effect, measured as the contribution of the pixels in the noise map to the output image.
Grayscale Noise
Controls whether the noise map contains the same values for all three channels.
Blend With
Controls the compositing operation used to blend the noise map with the source media.
Animation Speed
Controls the speed at which the noise pattern is changing.
Animation Seed
The "seed" value used to generate random noise. The sequence of noise frames will be the same when using the same seed value.
Blend Frames
Controls whether noise frames are blended together for a smoother transition, or whether the animation progresses sharply from one noise frame to the next.
