Crushes the color information in the source image by mapping the existing RGB values to a new range of values. By default, this plug-in uses a single range to remap all three channels. The "Use RGB Ranges" parameter lets you enable separate clipping ranges for each channel.
Effect Parameters
Presets
Presets contain a snapshot of the plug-in parameters. The Presets control lets you choose among one of the presets built into the plug-in, save current parameter values to a preset file, or load an existing preset file from disk.
A preset file saved to disk via the "Save As" button can be loaded from another instance of the same plug-in by clicking the "Open" button. Presets generated in one host can also be loaded from the same plug-in when used in a different host.
Low
Defines the new lower boundary of the output color range. Raising this parameter has the effect of darkening the image, because a higher number of pixels will be "closer" to p
pure black.
High
Defines the upper boundary of the output color range. Lowering this parameter has the effect of brightening the image, because a higher number of pixels will be "closer" to pure white.
Use RGB Ranges
Enables separate sliders to define output color ranges for each of the output color channels.
Low Red/Green/Blue
When the "Use RGB Ranges" checkbox is enabled, these sliders let you specify the lower boundaries of the output color ranges for each of the three color channels.
High Red/Green/Blue
When the "Use RGB Ranges" checkbox is enabled, these sliders let you specify the upper boundaries of the output color ranges for each of the three color channels.
